A back pain and a hernia. How to get rid of it.

"My favorite childhood memory is my back not hurting»

Do you agree that it doesn't seem like a joke at all?

We often associate back pain with hernias and osteochondrosis.

I often hear: «Oh, well, I have osteochondrosis/hernia, that's why my back hurts!"

But it shouldn't be that way!

Look at this statistics.

40% of people with hernias don't suffer from pain!

80% of people in pain don't have hernias!

For 85% of people, the reasons for back pain are incorrect movement strategies.

In other words, the problem is how a person moves in everyday life, not because he has a hernia.

🆘 Pain isn't always linked to the tissue damage but is always linked to danger.

Our nervous system warns us: "be careful, if you continue like this, it will get worse."

For those who studied strength of materials, they might remember the concept of metal fatigue. So, pain is a signal of the accumulation of this "fatigue," a call for the nervous system to take care of that area.

Our usual reaction to pain: give me a pill, tape it, apply some cream, massage it...

This helps at first, but always stops helping in some time.

Why? Because the cause of the pain hasn't been eliminated.

Should you get rid of the pain?

Yes, but not just cover it with pills; work with movement, and if it gets better, then you're on the right way.

That’s why I am a movement specialist who is working with people’s movement strategies for a better life without pain.
